University of California Vegetable Crops Pest Management Meeting
The persistent issue of powdery mildew diseases in melons and tomatoes will be discussed; the focus will be on recent research results. Symptoms and methods for minimizing risk of herbicide damage in tomatoes will be a topic covered. The last hour of the meeting will be on Tomato spotted wilt virus in processing tomatoes. An overview of the current local and statewide situation regarding the virus and the latest research will be presented. Audience participation is encouraged. The event is free of charge and open to everyone with interest. Two hours continuing education from DPR and CCA have been requested.
